The Hartford provides Q4 cat loss estimate

The Hartford Financial Services Group Inc. expects to book fourth-quarter catastrophe losses in the range of $180 million to $200 million on a pretax basis, CFO Beth Bombara said.

The company has continued to work through claims from third-quarter hurricane and wildfire damage, and loss estimates have come down from initial projections, Bombara said during a conference call.
