Becle SAB de CV said its third-quarter normalized net income came to 61 Mexican centavos per share, an increase from 60 centavos per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 703.7 million pesos, a gain from 684.1 million pesos in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 15.2% from 15.2% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew on an annual basis to 4.64 billion pesos from 4.51 billion pesos, and total operating expenses rose 12.2% from the prior-year period to 3.43 billion pesos from 3.06 billion pesos.
Reported net income rose 11.5% from the prior-year period to 756.8 million pesos, or 66 centavos per share, from 678.9 million pesos, or 59 centavos per share.
As of Jan. 23, US$1 was equivalent to 21.41 Mexican pesos.
