JPMorgan Chase & Co. named Rebecca Thornton head of its director advisory services group, Reuters reported, citing an internal memo.
Thornton takes over from Karen Simon, according to the memo, which a JPMorgan spokesperson confirmed to S&P Global Market Intelligence. Simon will retire at the end of the summer. Thornton joined the banking giant in 2018 from an executive recruiting firm, Reuters reported.
Vice Chairman of Investment Banking Rod Reed will provide guidance to Thornton and her team as a senior adviser.
