Brighthouse Financial announces pricing of secondary stock offering

Brighthouse Financial Inc. announced the pricing of a secondary offering of 23,155,117 shares of stock held by MetLife Inc. in a debt-for-equity exchange at a price to the public of $44.50 per share.

The offering is expected to close June 19.

MetLife has exchanged its shares of Brighthouse stock for MetLife debt owned by Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC and Wells Fargo Securities LLC.

Goldman Sachs & Co., J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo Securities are underwriters for the offering.
