NTN Buzztime CEO resigns

Ram Krishnan will resign as CEO of NTN Buzztime Inc. effective Sept. 17.

Krishnan, who will also resign from the company's board, will serve as an adviser through Oct. 17, the company said. CFO Allen Wolff will become interim CEO, effective Sept. 17. NTN said it reduced the size of its board to five directors.

In addition, the company promoted Sandra Gurrola to senior vice president of finance to assume some of Wolff's prior responsibilities as CFO.

In this role, Gurrola will oversee all aspects of accounting and financial reporting, including SEC reporting. The news comes after NTN revamped its board and named Gregg Thomas its new chairman.
