IOOF Holdings director to retire

Australia's IOOF Holdings Ltd. said Oct. 24 that George Venardos will retire as a board director Nov. 28.

Venardos was appointed a directer in April 2009 and was chairman from 2016 to 2018. He took leave from the board director role after the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority sought to disqualify several executives and directors of the company in connection with allegations that IOOF failed to act in the best interests of superannuation members.
