ScandiVanadium estimates maiden resource for Skåne's Hörby target

ScandiVanadium Ltd. said Dec. 18 that it estimated a maiden indicated and inferred mineral resource of 116.9 million tonnes at 0.39% vanadium pentoxide for 455,805 tonnes of contained vanadium pentoxide at the Hörby target in its Skåne vanadium project in Sweden.

The target's indicated mineral resource is estimated at 61.8 million tonnes grading 0.39% vanadium pentoxide for 240,944 tonnes of contained vanadium pentoxide. The company added that 75% of the indicated mineral resource occurs within 100 meters of surface.

ScandiVanadium noted that the estimate was made with less than 2% of the license area explored, demonstrating the potential of the broader Skåne project.
