OZ Minerals earns 51% of West Musgrave nickel-copper project

OZ Minerals Ltd. satisfied the 51% earn-in at Cassini Resources Ltd.'s West Musgrave nickel-copper project in Western Australia by contributing an initial A$3 million and a further A$19 million on the pre-feasibility study at the Nebo-Babel deposits and regional exploration.

The pre-feasibility study for Nebo-Babel started in November 2017 and is scheduled for completion in the second quarter of 2019. The current milestone was achieved six months ahead of the joint venture requirement, according to an Oct. 11 release.

OZ Minerals can earn up to a 70% interest in the West Musgrave project by sole funding an additional A$14 million toward Nebo-Babel studies and regional exploration.
