Imperial Capital LLC hired David Burns as a senior vice president in restructuring and recapitalization in its investment banking group.

Most recently, Burns worked as an independent consultant, working with clients on corporate development, reorganization, global expansion, process improvement, governance and risk development.

Earlier in his career, he held advisory roles at Greenhill & Co., the global special situations group at Merrill Lynch and at Houlihan Lokey.
