Conviviality fiscal Q1 profit climbs YOY

Conviviality Plc said its normalized net income for the fiscal first quarter ended July 26 amounted to 14 Great British pence per share, a gain from 1 pence per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was £9.0 million, an increase from £1.0 million in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income increased year over year to £14.5 million, or 22 pence per share, from £1.1 million, or 2 pence per share.
