Verizon Fios subs get access to MSG GO

MSG Networks Inc.'s live streaming and video-on-demand platform, MSG GO, is now available to subscribers of Verizon Communications Inc.'s Fios who receive MSG Networks as part of their pay TV subscription.

Viewers will be able to watch MSG programming, both at home and on-the-go, through a participating provider on their supported smartphone, tablet or personal computer. The addition of MSG GO will help the company soon carry live streaming of each New York-area regional sports network, Ben Grad, executive director of content strategy and acquisition for Verizon, said in an April 5 statement.

Fios subscribers who have a supported smartphone or tablet can download the MSG GO app for free, from Apple Inc.'s App Store or Google Inc.'s Play store.
