UK
* Primary Health Properties Plc unit Primary Health Properties ICAV closed the €20 million purchase of the Mallow Primary Healthcare Centre in Cork, Ireland. A new 25-year lease for the asset was signed with Health Service Executive, representing approximately 65% of the total rental income.
* Ediston Property Investment Co. plc acquired a seven-acre development land in Haddington, U.K., for roughly £2.8 million, excluding costs. The site is earmarked for retail project under a local development plan. The company is now seeking a new planning permission for the site involving the development of a retail warehouse.
* AEW UK Long Lease REIT Plc paid £3.8 million to buy the Applegreen Petrol Filling Station in Crawley, U.K., at a net initial yield of 5.3%. The station provides eight filling points, 20 car parking spaces and a convenience store, among other facilities.
The Netherlands
* Aedifica SA signed an approximately €6 million agreement for the construction of the Huize Hoog Waardijn care residence in Tilburg. The development is expected to be completed in the first quarter of 2019 and have a gross rental yield of roughly 6.5%.
In its half-year report for the 2017/2018 financial year, the company said it agreed Jan. 24 to invest roughly €4 million to construct a 21-unit senior care residence center in Leusden. The property is set for completion in the third quarter of 2019.
On Feb. 1, the company also acquired the 12-unit Martha Flora Hoorn senior care residence in Hoorn for roughly €1 million.
