MGE, Madison Gas and Electric CFO plans to retire by end of 2020

Jeffrey Newman, who holds several senior executive positions at MGE Energy Inc. and its utility subsidiary Madison Gas and Electric Co., plans to retire by the end of 2020.

Newman is executive vice president, CFO, treasurer and secretary for both companies. According to a Sept. 4 Form 8-K filing with the SEC, the companies intend to transition his CFO duties during the third quarter of 2020.
