Nordex secures 308 MW of orders in December 2019

Nordex SE closed the last month of 2019 with 308 MW of new orders from wind developers in Europe.

Turkey emerged as the main sales market for Nordex, with three projects totaling 105 MW, according to a Jan. 7 news release. The company also secured orders from Spain, Italy, France, Finland, Germany and Croatia during the month.

The majority of the orders, out of the total 72 turbines, were for those with nominal outputs of between 3 MW and 4.8 MW.

Nordex received orders for wind turbines with a total capacity of 128 MW from seven customers in Ireland, Germany, France and Sweden in November 2019.
