Hansae Yes24 Holdings Co. Ltd. said its first-quarter normalized net income came to 148.38 South Korean won per share, a gain of 64.0% from 90.46 won per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 5.94 billion won, a gain of 63.8% from 3.62 billion won in the prior-year period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 1.3% from 0.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 9.1% on an annual basis to 446.55 billion won from 409.28 billion won, and total operating expenses climbed 8.2% from the prior-year period to 419.59 billion won from 387.89 billion won.
Reported net income increased 16.3% year over year to 8.81 billion won, or 220.25 won per share, from 7.57 billion won, or 188.99 won per share.
As of May 15, US$1 was equivalent to 1,083.65 South Korean won.
