Asian Phytoceuticals Q1 profit climbs 11.7% YOY

Asian Phytoceuticals Public Company Ltd said its normalized net income for the first quarter came to 19.5 million baht, an increase of 11.7% from 17.4 million baht in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.

The normalized profit margin climbed to 19.6% from 18.1% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to 99.2 million baht from 96.4 million baht, and total operating expenses came to 69.4 million baht, compared with 70.1 million baht in the year-earlier period.

Reported net income grew 12.2% year over year to 24.9 million baht, or 1 satang per share, from 22.2 million baht, or 1 satang per share.

As of May 10, US$1 was equivalent to 35.23 baht.
