Tesla Inc. named James Zhou as its CFO for China as part of a reorganization.
Zhou previously served as CFO for Asia-Pacific and India for Ingersoll Rand, an industrial manufacturing company.
The company announced Zhou's appointment with a number of key executives hires in a May 25 blog post, adding that it will announce more hires in the coming days.
"We're excited to welcome a group of such talented people as we continue to ramp [up] Model 3," Tesla said in the post.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk told employees May 14 that the company plans to flatten and restructure its management and is undergoing a "thorough reorganization," The Wall Street Journal reported.
