Natural Health Trends Corp. said its second-quarter normalized net income came to 82 cents per share, an increase of 32.3% from 62 cents per share in the year-earlier period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was $9.3 million, an increase of 20.6% from $7.7 million in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin climbed to 11.6% from 11.1% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue grew 15.3% on an annual basis to $80.4 million from $69.7 million, and total operating expenses increased 13.9% year over year to $65.5 million from $57.5 million.
Reported net income came to $12.2 million, or $1.07 per share, compared to $12.2 million, or 98 cents per share, in the year-earlier period.
