Fiditour Q1 loss widens YOY

Fiditour JSC said its normalized net income for the first quarter amounted to a loss of 1,262.50 dong per share, compared with a loss of 539.38 dong per share in the prior-year period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was a loss of 3.86 billion dong, compared with a loss of 1.65 billion dong in the prior-year period.

The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 3.3% from negative 1.3% in the year-earlier period.

Total revenue fell 9.0% year over year to 117.08 billion dong from 128.62 billion dong, and total operating expenses declined 6.3% on an annual basis to 123.61 billion dong from 131.99 billion dong.

Reported net income came to a loss of 6.17 billion dong, or a loss of 2,020.00 dong per share, compared to a loss of 2.64 billion dong, or a loss of 863.00 dong per share, in the prior-year period.

As of April 22, US$1 was equivalent to 21,586 dong.
