Galan Lithium outlines maiden lithium estimate for Candelas North zone

Galan Lithium Ltd. said Oct. 1 that it outlined a maiden resource estimate for the Candelas North zone, part of the Candelas lithium brine project in Argentina, of 684,850 tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent grading 672 milligrams per liter of lithium.

The indicated resource was reported at a cutoff grade of 500 milligrams per liter of lithium. Results from an eight-hole, 3,537-meter drilling program were incorporated in the resource estimate, which the Australia-listed explorer said exceeded its expectations.

The company will do additional drilling within the Central zone to better define the resource estimate and initial work to lead to a pre-feasibility study for the Candelas project.
