Comcast shareholders vote no on annual lobbying report

Comcast Corp. stockholders rejected a shareholder proposal for an annual report on the company's lobbying activities.

The rejected proposal called for the company to prepare an annual report detailing the policy and procedures governing Comcast's direct and indirect lobbying as well as any lobbying payments made by the company and its relationship to any tax-exempt organizations that write and endorse model legislation.

A shareholder proposal regarding voting power, which proposed one vote per share for all stockholders, was not presented for a vote at the annual meeting.
