ECR Minerals PLC submitted nine new exploration license applications covering 1,600 square kilometers of gold-prospective ground in Western Australia's Yilgarn region.
The application package will be called the Windidda gold project and will complement the company's existing gold exploration portfolio in Victoria.
ECR may undertake aircore drilling across gravity-magnetic anomaly targets to assess the potential for gold mineralization.
The company noted it is conducting due diligence over additional potential new opportunities.
Article amended at 5.44 a.m. ET on Jan. 3 after the company issued a statement correcting the size of the land package.
