California court approves Wells Fargo's $142M settlement in sales practices suit

The U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California has issued an order approving Wells Fargo & Co.'s $142 million settlement of a class-action lawsuit over improper retail sales practices.

The settlement amount relates to the funds set aside for customer remediation.

The bank has already accrued for the full amount of the settlement.
