Medical Facilities closes acquisition of 7 ambulatory surgical centers

Medical Facilities Corp. completed the acquisition of seven ambulatory surgery centers for $46.5 million.

The company purchased the facilities through a joint venture formed with NueHealth LLC. The hospital operator funded its portion of the purchase price through cash and a draw from its credit facility.

The centers acquired are Brookside Surgery Center in Battle Creek, Mich.; Central Arkansas Surgical Center in Russellville, Ark.; City Place Surgery Center in Creve Coeur, Mo.; Eastwind Surgical in Westerville, Ohio; Miracle Hills Surgery Center in Omaha, Neb.; Riverview Ambulatory Surgical Center in Kingston, Pa.; and Two Rivers Surgery Center in Eugene, Ore.
