Swedish auto safety systems-maker Autoliv Inc. on Jan. 8 said Mats Backman will step down as its CFO, effective July 8.
Backman's resignation is a result of his decision to accept a similar position with auto parts-maker Veoneer Inc., where he will replace Mathias Hermansson.
Autoliv added that Christian Hanke, vice president of corporate control, will serve as interim CFO until the company completes its search for a successor.
