Southeast Asian subscription video on demand service Hooq appointed Michael Fleshman as its chief technology officer, Digital News Asia reported Feb. 2.
Fleshman, a former BBC Worldwide Ltd. executive, will be tasked with the strategic planning and development of the product and platform for the streaming service.
He previously founded the digital strategy and development consulting company Notting Hill Digital, and he has also held posts at Viacom Inc., Financial Times and AOL Inc.
