Venture capital firm EV Growth hits $250M hard cap of 1st fund

Singapore-headquartered venture capital firm EV Growth, or EVG Fund LP, closed its maiden fund at $250 million, hitting its hard cap and surpassing its initial fundraising target of $150 million.

EV Growth, which is a joint venture between East Ventures Co. Ltd., Sinar Mas Digital Ventures and YJ Capital Inc., has deployed more than 50% of its total funds in 20 deals.

It aims to deploy $325 million for Southeast Asian startups combining active funds size, for both seed and growth stage.
