President Donald Trump said CNBC television personality Larry Kudlow has a "very good chance" of replacing Gary Cohn as the head of the National Economic Council.
"We don't agree on everything but in this case I think that's good: I want to have a divergent opinion," Trump said of Kudlow before boarding his helicopter March 13. "He now has come around to believing in tariffs as also a negotiating point. … Larry has been a friend of mine for a long time. … He's a very, very talented man, a good man."
Trump also said he was speaking with other candidates.
