Avant Diagnostics Inc. appointed Henry Cole as a board member, effective June 9.

Cole has served as president of Global Development International LLC, a position he has held since 2007.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Avant Diagnostics is a diagnostic company, which focuses on the commercialization of a series of proprietary microarray-based diagnostic tests that provide early detection of cancers, neurodegenerative diseases, and other chronic and severe disease states.
