Old Point Financial SVP/CFO to resign

Jeffrey Farrar, senior vice president for finance and CFO of Old Point Financial Corp., is set to resign from the Hampton, Va.-based company.

Farrar, who is also executive vice president and CFO of Old Point Financial unit Old Point National Bank of Phoebus, will continue in his roles through July 1.

Farrar will be succeeded on an interim basis by Elizabeth Beale, who will serve as the company's interim CFO, effective July 2. She will also succeed Farrar at such time as the company's interim principal financial and accounting officer.

Beale has served as Old Point National's senior vice president and chief accounting officer since April 2018.
