New Mexico to cut workers' compensation loss costs

New Mexico's insurance regulator disclosed that workers' compensation loss costs in the state will be trimmed by 8.5%, effective Jan. 1, 2020.

The pure premium reduction is based on the National Council on Compensation Insurance's recommendation. Employers will see the effect of the decrease when they renew their policies in 2020.
