FedEx grosses $1.24 billion from debt offering

FedEx Corp. raised gross proceeds of $1.24 billion from an offering of 4.55% senior unsecured notes due April 1, 2046.

The company plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes or working capital, redemption or repayment of debt securities, and repurchase of securities.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Inc., Deutsche Bank Securities Inc., Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, J.P. Morgan Securities LLC, Merrill Lynch Pierce Fenner & Smith Inc., Mizuho Securities USA LLC, Scotia Capital (USA) Inc., SunTrust Robinson Humphrey Inc. and Wells Fargo Securities LLC were the lead underwriters.

HSBC Securities (USA) Inc., ING Financial Markets LLC, Morgan Stanley & Co. LLC, Regions Securities LLC and Samuel A. Ramirez & Co. Inc. also served as underwriters for the offering.
