Rabobank Australia names new chairman

Rabobank Australia Ltd. appointed Henry van der Heyden as its new chairman, replacing Bill Gurry in the post.

Van der Heyden is chairman of Rabobank New Zealand Ltd., the company said Nov. 27. He has been a member of Rabobank Australia's board since 2012, and also serves as chairman of Auckland International Airport Ltd., Manuka SA and Tainui Group Holdings.

The appointment will be effective from Nov. 29.

Gurry will remain a member of the board until further notice.
