Judge rules in favor of CoStar Group in Apartment Hunters stolen listings case

A federal judge entered an injunction against Apartment Hunters Inc. for publishing listings and photographs taken from CoStar Group Inc.'s Apartments.com.

The judge ordered that Apartment Hunters add a copyright filter to its system and pay $10,000 per day, per photograph if further copyright infringement occurs. In addition, the judge ordered Apartment Hunters to pay CoStar $10,000 per stolen listing and $10,000 per infringed image.

Apartment Hunters refused it had intentionally stolen the listings and photos it published on its websites.
