FERC clears NJR Clean Energy Ventures' $208.5M sale of wind portfolio

The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission approved NJR Clean Energy Ventures' sale of a 117-MW operating wind portfolio to Skyline Renewables LLC for $208.5 million.

The transaction involves the 50.7-MW Alexander facility in Rush County, Kan., the 39.9-MW Ringer Hill facility in Somerset County, Pa., the 20-MW Carroll Area facility in Carroll County, Iowa, and the 6.3-MW Medicine Bow facility in Carbon County, Wyo.

After this deal is complete, Skyline Renewables plans to sell the nonmanaging class A membership interest in the four facilities to an unidentified investor under a separate tax equity transaction.

NJR Clean Energy Ventures is a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources Corp. Skyline Renewables is jointly owned by Paris-based Ardian Holding SAS and Washington-based Transatlantic Power Holdings LLC. (FERC docket EC19-29)
