Pandora A/S said its normalized net income for the third quarter came to 6.87 Danish kroner per share, compared with the S&P Capital IQ consensus estimate of 8.83 kroner per share.
EPS increased 51.7% year over year from 4.53 kroner.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 823.1 million kroner, a gain of 45.4% from 566.3 million kroner in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin rose to 20.8% from 19.9% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 37.5% year over year to 3.91 billion kroner from 2.85 billion kroner, and total operating expenses climbed 36.0% year over year to 2.56 billion kroner from 1.88 billion kroner.
Reported net income grew 38.8% on an annual basis to 1.01 billion kroner, or 8.40 kroner per share, from 725.0 million kroner, or 5.80 kroner per share.
