McPherson's fiscal H1 profit falls YOY

McPherson's Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2014, came to 8 Australian cents per share, a decline of 14.0% from 10 cents per share in the year-earlier period.

Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$8.1 million, a decrease of 9.1% from A$8.9 million in the prior-year period.

Total revenue grew on an annual basis to A$186.7 million from A$180.7 million, and total operating expenses grew from the prior-year period to A$171.2 million from A$163.4 million.

Reported net income came to A$10.0 million, or 10 cents per share, compared to a loss of A$70.1 million, or a loss of 77 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
