Lumina Gold Corp. on Jan. 25 announced an NI 43-101-compliant maiden inferred resource estimate for its Cangrejos gold-copper project in Ecuador.
The project hosts 191.8 million tonnes grading 0.81 g/t of gold equivalent containing 4 million ounces of gold, 423 million pounds of copper and 4.6 million ounces of silver, at a 0.35 g/t of gold equivalent cutoff.
The company noted that the mineralization remains open to the northwest, south and to depth.
The resource estimate was based on 10,829 meters of diamond drilling in 35 holes, using a three-dimensional block model with a nominal block size of 10 by 10 by 10 meters.
