Credit Suisse names head of China prime sales, business development

Switzerland's Credit Suisse Group AG appointed Michelle Lim as head of China prime sales and business development and Henry Lam as director of its prime sales team in the country, Reuters reported, citing a statement from the group.

The group's China prime brokerage business offers services such as clearing trades and lending money to hedge funds. The new hires are part of its plans to expand into China, according to the report.

Both Lim and Lam previously worked at Deutsche Bank AG's Asia prime brokerage sales. Lim was co-head of the team, while Lam was a director in the team.
