Texas-based i-bankers departing from Hovde

Hovde Group LLC depository investment bankers R. Clark Locke and Joseph Morton have resigned from the firm, according to three industry sources.

Hovde did not respond to requests for comment.

Locke and Morton were based in Austin, Texas. Locke had been with Hovde since 2002 and Morton had been with Hovde since 2007, according to Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Inc. records.

Some of the recent deal assignments for Locke and Morton include advising AIM Bancshares Inc. on its acquisition of Platinum Bancshares of Texas Inc. and advising Dublin National Bank on its sale to BOH Holdings Inc.
