FedEx Corp. on Jan. 30 completed its deal to acquire GENCO Distribution Systems Inc. for a transaction value of $1.38 billion.
In addition to general closing conditions, the deal required additional review for antitrust concerns.
J.P. Morgan Securities LLC was the financial adviser for FedEx, and Baker & McKenzie (Gaikokuho Joint Enterprise) was the legal adviser.
Republic Capital Partners Inc. was the financial adviser for GENCO Distribution Systems, while Paul Weiss Rifkind Wharton & Garrison LLP and Stikeman Elliott LLP were the legal advisers.
