Petrofac tapped for engineering work in Oman, Libya

Petrofac Ltd. was granted three contracts to provide front-end engineering design, or FEED, and conceptualization studies for clients in Oman and Libya, it said Oct. 22.

In Oman, the company will support Flare to Value LLC by making a basic engineering package to recover gas being flared at three onshore locations.

Waha Oil Co. granted Petrofac a contract to provide FEED for its Gialo III field onshore Libya.

In addition, the company was granted a four-month contract for a conceptual and pre-FEED study for rehabilitating the Dahra Oil Field in Concession 32 onshore Libya.

All three contracts will be carried out by the company's engineering and consultancy business in Woking, U.K.

Financial details were not disclosed.
