PT Mas Murni Indonesia Tbk said its first-quarter normalized net income was 3 Indonesian sen per share, a decrease of 56.3% from 6 sen per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was 63.7 million rupiah, a decrease of 56.3% from 145.7 million rupiah in the year-earlier period.
The normalized profit margin dropped to negative 0.7% from 0.8% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased 5.5% on an annual basis to 17.49 billion rupiah from 18.51 billion rupiah, and total operating expenses decreased 5.9% from the prior-year period to 16.01 billion rupiah from 17.01 billion rupiah.
Reported net income fell 40.2% year over year to 103.4 million rupiah, or 4 sen per share, from 173.1 million rupiah, or 7 sen per share.
As of April 29, US$1 was equivalent to 12,900 rupiah.
