Nighthawk Gold Corp. said March 21 that it will undertake a 25,000-meter diamond drilling program on the Indin Lake gold project in Canada's Northwest Territories.
The drilling program primarily aims to expand the Colomac, Goldcrest and Grizzly Bear targets along strike and to depth, as well as explore other potential zones of higher-grade mineralization.
In addition, drilling at the Leta Arm deposit has begun and will follow-up on drilling from 2011 and test the downplunge and strike extensions of the vein systems.
A planned drilling program at the Damoti Lake gold deposit will investigate an opportunity to grow the resource beyond its current high-grade core. The program is expected to be completed by late September.
