Independence stakes 4,385-hectare Stinger gold property, expands Boulevard

Independence Gold Corp. said June 8 that it acquired the 4,385-hectare Stinger gold property in Yukon by staking.

The Stinger claims are on the east side of the northeast-trending Sixtymile-Pika fault system, southwest of the Tintina Fault.

The company also expanded its Boulevard gold project, part of the Snowcap project in Yukon, by approximately 1,460 hectares. The project now consists of 958 mineral claims across 19,960 hectares.

Independence Gold will include this new area in its extensive geochemical soil sampling program, anticipated to commence in mid-June.
