Scor reorganizes nonlife business, shuffles team

Scor SE will divide its Scor Global P&C nonlife unit into three divisions to "address the evolving needs of its clients and reinforce its Tier 1 position."

The company has made a series of management changes, which includes naming Brona Magee, currently Scor Global Life's head of client solutions, as deputy CEO of Scor Global Life.

The company made the announcements as part of its Sept. 5 investor day.

Scor global P&C will have three divisions: Reinsurance, P&C partners and specialty insurance. P&C Partners will include alternative solutions, strategic partnerships, retrocession and underwriting management. Specialty insurance will house the Scor business solutions large corporate risks business and its channel syndicate Lloyd's of London operation.

In addition to Magee's move, Scor also announced a series of appointments. As part of the global P&C restructure, Jean-Paul Conoscente and Umberto Gavazzi were appointed CEO and deputy CEO of the reinsurance unit, respectively.

Sylvie Van Viet was named CEO of P&C partners and Vincent Foucart and Adrian Jones were appointed deputy CEOs of P&C partners.

Laurent Rousseau will become CEO of the specialty insurance unit in addition to his role as deputy CEO of Scor Global P&C.

At group level, Scor has appointed Xavier Savigny as group head of human resources and transformation and Michael Nguyen as head of operations strategy and project office.
