NiSource Inc. released the final results of its up to $760.2 million cash tender offer for three series of outstanding notes, after the offer expired at 5 p.m. ET on June 11.
The principal amounts tendered were $70.0 million for the $255.1 million outstanding 6.80% notes due 2019, $106.0 million for the $325.1 million outstanding 5.45% notes due 2020 and $33.0 million for the $180.0 million of 6.125% notes due 2022.
NiSource plans to fund the tender offer with net proceeds from $750 million in private placements of notes and preferred shares.
Settlement for the notes accepted for purchase by NiSource is expected to take place on June 12. Credit Suisse Securities (USA) LLC served as the dealer manager, while D.F. King & Co. Inc. is tender agent for the tender offers.
