Nick Scali Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal first half ended Dec. 31, 2014, amounted to 11 Australian cents per share, a gain of 27.8% from 9 cents per share in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income, which excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis, was A$9.0 million, a gain of 27.6% from A$7.0 million in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue increased 8.3% on an annual basis to A$77.6 million from A$71.7 million, and total operating expenses climbed from the prior-year period to A$63.8 million from A$60.9 million.
Reported net income rose 27.6% on an annual basis to A$10.0 million, or 12 cents per share, from A$7.9 million, or 10 cents per share.
