HSBC's asset manager gets investment head; Citi names EMEA emerging markets head

S&P Global Market Intelligence presents a daily roundup of management and board changes at financial institutions in Europe. This feature excludes C-level leadership changes and previously reported stories.

HSBC

* HSBC Holdings PLC's HSBC Global Asset Management named Joanna Munro global chief investment officer, effective September-end, Financial News reported, citing a statement.

Munro, who was the asset management division's global head of stewardship and fiduciary governance, will replace Chris Cheetham, who is retiring, according to the report. Munro will report directly to HSBC Global Asset Management CEO Nicolas Moreau.

Citigroup

* Citigroup Inc. named Atiq Rehman head of emerging markets cluster for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, Reuters reported, citing an internal email.

Rehman currently serves as the U.S. lender's head of Middle East and Africa. The new cluster will consist of three sub-clusters — Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa and Turkey, and Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
