Asiatravel.com Holdings Ltd. said its normalized net income for the fiscal second quarter ended March 31 amounted to a loss of S$1.3 million, compared with a loss of S$1.1 million in the prior-year period.
Normalized net income excludes unusual gains or losses on a pre- and after-tax basis.
The normalized profit margin fell to negative 5.8% from negative 5.0% in the year-earlier period.
Total revenue decreased on an annual basis to S$21.2 million from S$21.7 million, and total operating expenses totaled S$23.4 million, compared with S$23.6 million in the year-earlier period.
Reported net income totaled a loss of S$2.1 million, or a loss of 1 cents per share, compared to a loss of S$1.8 million, or a loss of 1 cents per share, in the prior-year period.
As of May 14, US$1 was equivalent to S$1.32.
